Monel Alloy Valve Balls

Monel Alloy Valve Ball
Monel alloy valve ball is precision manufactured from Nickel-Copper Monel alloy by forging, CNC machining and mirror lapping. It features excellent resistance to seawater, alkali, hydrofluoric acid and non-magnetic property, widely used for marine, alkaline and severe salt corrosion working conditions.
Common Grades
Monel 400: Standard grade, excellent resistance to seawater, brine, alkali and hydrofluoric acid.
Monel K500: Age-hardened grade with higher strength and hardness, suitable for high pressure and metal hard seal valve ball.
Detail

Manufacturing Process

Adopt solid forged raw material with dense internal structure. Precision CNC turning and ultra-mirror sealing surface lapping, roundness tolerance up to 0.01mm. Surface hardening treatment is optional for floating ball, trunnion ball and hard seal control valves.

Key Advantages

  1. Outstanding resistance to seawater and salt spray corrosion, perfect for marine environment.
  2. Excellent anti-corrosion performance in strong alkali and caustic liquid media.
  3. Stable service life in hydrofluoric acid and weak acid working conditions.
  4. Non-magnetic and good low-temperature toughness, no brittle fracture at low temperature.
  5. High strength and impact resistance, anti-deformation under high pressure with long sealing life.

Applications

Marine ship, offshore platform, seawater desalination, brine project, caustic soda chemical industry, salt making plant, hydrofluoric acid system and military marine high-end ball valves.
