1. Introduction
Metal valve seats are all-metal sealing parts matched with valve balls, designed for high temperature, high pressure, abrasive and particle-containing media. They realize metal-to-metal hard sealing, suitable for harsh working conditions where soft seats cannot be used.
2. Common Materials
- Stainless Steel: 304, 316L, 310S
- Duplex Steel: 2205, 2507
- Nickel Alloy: Monel K500, Inconel 625, Incoloy 825
- Hard Alloy: Stellite 6 / Stellite 12
- Sprayed Coating: Tungsten Carbide, Titanium Oxide Ceramic
3. Key Features
- Resistant to high temperature and high pressure.
- Anti-wear, anti-erosion, anti-scuffing.
- Good performance for steam, slurry and particle media.
- Long service life, stable sealing under severe conditions.
- Suitable for cryogenic and elevated temperature cycling.
4. Applicable Working Conditions
- Temperature: -196℃ ~ 650℃
- High pressure, high temperature steam
- Slurry, powder, ash and granular medium
- Petrochemical, power plant, metallurgy, oil & gas
5. Matching Valve Balls
Floating ball, Trunnion ball, V-type ball, T-type ball with hard facing coating.
6. Advantage
Metal hard seat replaces soft seat in extreme temperature and abrasive service, no aging or deformation, greatly extending valve service life.
